ANTELOPE, California -- Three wins in four races for the #16 NAPA AUTO PARTS/NAPA Filters.com team from the stables of Bill McAnally Racing. The most recent win came at the .646 oval of Evergreen Speedway at the NAPA 300 presented by Basalite. It was the eleventh race of the thirteen race schedule for the NASCAR Grand National Division West Series. Driver Brian Ickler and the #16 team look to make it four for five as they race in the California “125” on the road course in Fontana, California on August 11th, 2007.
“I’m looking forward to racing the road course,” said Ickler, who pilots the #16 NAPA AUTO PARTS Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS. “I like the diversity of the track. There are big sweeping corners followed by some very tight turns. It will be a tough transition for the heavy cars of the West Series.”
The team recently tested at the road course where Brian took some laps in a Late Model car. There are over a dozen turns before the cars will be back on the super-speedway part of the track.
Ickler heads to California Speedway fourth in points in the chase for the series championship and only forty out of the top three. The #16 team has made great gains and is the only team to record three wins this season.

Ickler was able to give more than 25 VIPS rides in BMR’s two-seater ride-a-long car on Friday night at Evergreen Speedway. Ickler and teammate Eric Richardson, driver of the #20 Basalite Chevrolet spent some time prior to the race getting to meet some of the people from both NAPA AUTO PARTS and Basalite Concrete Products.
