According to Brett Thompson, “We had a great car and it was very frustrating for all of us to not complete this race. As a team, and as an organization, we have never been in a better position to be successful. Everyone is giving 110% and we all see the components coming together, it just has not translated on the track. We are very fortunate to have sponsors who participate as part of our team and they are just as committed as their fellow teammates on the track. There is no question that our efforts will pay off and great things will happen for our team.”
Commitment, teamwork and an overwhelming drive to compete and win are what sustain great NASCAR teams. The days of preparation for the team are endless. Race days are really several days and most days begin in the middle of the night and run into very late in the evening. Sleep and normal meals don’t seem to happen all too often, though the team enjoys good food and always stay at decent hotels.
