MARTINSVILLE, Virginia- Scott Lynch heads to Martinsville Speedway this weekend seeking success in his eighth Truck Series start of 2007.
Although Lynch has put in only 161 laps at Martinsville, he has high hopes for the Kroger 200 this Saturday.
“The guys at Windward Racing have been working hard to prepare for this race,” says Lynch. “It’s only our fourth Truck race together and we had a pretty good showing in Las Vegas, so we were definitely ready to get back to the track.”
Four of Lynch’s 17 total Truck Series starts have been in Las Vegas, but he also has two short track truck races under his belt for a total of 355 laps.
“All any racer thinks about is racing,” explains Lynch. “Every time I climb into the car, I learn something new, figure out how to go faster. Having this opportunity has been awesome and having a great finish is in our sights. We’re so close.”
SPEED channel’s coverage of the Kroger 200 begins at 2:30pm ET on Saturday, October 20, 2007. The green flag is scheduled to fall at 3:00pm.
