
BROWNSBURG, Indiana – The racing community was pretty quiet this weekend, being Easter weekend, with the exception of the NASCAR Nationwide Series racing at the Nashville Superspeedway. The NHRA POWERade Drag Racing Series, the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series and the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series resume racing this weekend; NHRA at Houston Raceway Park in Baytown, Tex., and the Truck and Cup series’ at Martinsville Speedway in Martinsville, Va.
In Gainesville, the Pro Stock Motorcycle class of the POWERade Drag Racing Series kicked off their season and the points for the Ringers Gloves Pro Bike Battle resumed.
Gainesville winner Matt Guidera also collected the number one qualifying position for the race and broke into the top eight for the specialty race, held at the Mac Tools U.S. Nationals at O’Reilly Raceway Park in Indianapolis. Here’s how the point standings look heading into Houston.
