Airport Auto Brokers Late Models return to Lakeport Speedway this Memorial weekend with practice starting Friday night from 4pm to 7pm and two full days of racing Saturday and Sunday. Noel McCormack Jr is currently leading the points standings with 219 points, in 2nd is Kevin Ostern with 175 points. Jarred Beddow in 3rd place with 150 points and Kevin Estep, Bill Binns, Jim Stillman jr have a 3 way tie for 4th at 139 points apiece. At Lakeport Speedway, the Modifieds, Mini stocks, Street stocks and the famous 2 man Bombers will run both Saturday and Sunday. Also on Sunday night is the Popular Fiberglass 500 Boat Race. An event that should not be missed! If you have not been to a boat race at Lakeport Speedway, this is where race cars drag a boat behind them on a water soaked track trying to “sink” the competitors’ boat while preserving theirs. Whoever still has a boat at the end lines up for a fan vote and the fans determine the winner.
