Race #3 of the 2008 FLASHCO SRL Southwest Tour Series.

Saturday, May 24th, 2008 - Altamont Motorsports Park.

Practice 9:30am, Qualifying 12:30pm, Racing 2:30pm.

Saturday will mark the eighth year in a row that the FLASHCO SRL Southwest Tour Series has visited Altamont Motorsports Park.

Altamont Motorsports Park has hosted twenty-six SRL events with fourteen different winners.

The late Jeff Anthony leads in all-time SRL wins at Altamont Motorsports Park with seven.

Entering Saturday’s race, Irwindale winner Jim Pettit II carries an eight point lead over Roseville winner Troy Ermish, and a nine point lead over Craig Raudman in the 2008 FLASHCO SRL Southwest Tour Series championship standings.

Justin Westmoreland currently leads the 2008 Victory Circle Chassis and Parts Rookie-of-the-Year chase.

Twenty-seven FLASHCO SRL Southwest Tour Series teams are expected for Saturday’s 100 lap event.

The FLASHCO SRL Southwest Tour Series 100 lapper will headline Saturday’s racing at Altamont Motorsports Park which will also feature the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series Late Models and WestCar, ALSC and Formula 4.
