RESULTS FROM TOYOTA SPEEDWAY

Here are the race results from TOYOTA Speedway at Irwindale for Saturday, June 7:

Pure Stocks

Mike Colato Jr. of Chatsworth won the Pure Stocks division 30 lap feature race Saturday (June 7) at TOYOTA Speedway at Irwindale. Michelle Rouse of San Bernardino finished second and Ken Michaelian of Lawndale finished third.

Vista Paint Super Stocks

Greg Crutcher of Covina took the lead on lap 29 from race leader Brian Crutcher of Riverside to win the Vista Paint Super Stock 35 lap feature race Saturday night (June 7) at TOYOTA Speedway at Irwindale. The victory was Crutcher‘s second of the season. Division leader Bryan Harrell of Riverside finished second and Rich DeLong III of Santa Clarita finished third, his best division career finish.

Legends Cars

Fourteen year old rookie Eric Gunderson of San Diego demonstrated that his victory in the last Legends Cars race on May 31 was no fluke winning Saturday’s night’s (June 7) Legends Cars race at TOYOTA Speedway at Irwindale. Gunderson’s margin of victory over second place finisher and defending champion Darren Amidon of Santee was 0.381 seconds. Donny St. Ours of Upland finished third. Point standings leader Tom Landreth of Alta Loma finished in 6th place.

Auto Club Late Models

Nick Joanides of Woodland Hills took over the lead from Tim Huddleston of Agoura Hills on lap 31 to win the NASCAR Auto Club Late Model division 40 lap feature race Saturday night (June 7) at TOYOTA Speedway at Irwindale. Joanides victory was his first of the season and beat Huddleston to the finish line by a margin 0.624 seconds. Division leader Andrew Myers of Huntington Beach finished third. Former NASCAR West and Southwest Tour competitor Sean Woodside of Saugus competed in his first Late Model race of the season, finishing 18th.

ASA Speed Truck Challenge

Todd McLauchlan of Alpine won the ASA Speed Truck Challenge 50 lap feature race Saturday night (June 7) at TOYOTA Speedway at Irwindale. McLauchlan’s victory was his second of the season defeating division leader Darren Young of Gilbert, Ariz. by a margin of 0.596 seconds. Dallas Colodny finished third.
