WHEATON, Illinois -- Whenever and wherever Eddie Hoffman and the T.K. Racing Team pull into the pit area at any race track in the country, fellow competitors know they're going to have to deal with one of the toughest drivers in the entire United States!

After all, Hoffman has won three straight ASA Late Model Series Northern Division Features to start the 2008 season. The only thing that stopped him from winning last weekend at LaCrosse Fairgrounds Speedway in the River Run 100 was Mother Nature!

Throw in his convincing Feature Win in the USPRO Cup Series Illini 50 at Grundy County Speedway, (which gave him Two feature wins that day), and Hoffman has already won Four (4) ASALMS sanctioned Feature races this season. It's pretty safe to say that Hoffman is the hottest driver in the entire country.

Now the 48-year-old veteran and his T.K. Racing Team will switch back to ASALMS Challenge Division mode as they will head to the famed 0.437 Mile Progressively Banked Paved Oval of Berlin Raceway, located West of Grand Rapids in Marne, Michigan for the 2nd annual Tradition 200 on Friday and Saturday, June 13-14, 2008.

"As short tracks go, Berlin is no doubt one of the toughest on the circuit. With its unique design, there isn't much of a straightaway on the front or back stretch and it almost feels like you are constantly turning." Hoffman explained when describing the uniquely shaped Marne, Michigan fairgrounds oval.

"Turns 3 and 4 almost resemble a dog leg. Adding to the challenge are a few guys competing on Saturday that definitely know their way around this place and call this track home." He continued. "They'll be difficult to beat."

"The fans should see a whole lot of racing excitement, that's for sure." The Wheaton, Illinois standout added. "As for us, we are hoping for a strong Top 5 finish for the Lisa Thomas Salon Ford in this Challenge race." He ended.

For the 2008 season, Hoffman will drive his familiar Red #8 T.K. Racing Ford Fusion with primary sponsorship from Lisa Thomas Salon.####
