Last Saturday night, the Lakeport Speedway hosted the Late Models, Modified, and Bombers in a special show sponsored by the Kulture Shock Car Show. The show had run all day over 150 custom and backyard-built vintage cars from the 50's and 60's. It continued behind the grandstands with live music, and on the track with exhibition races by the B.C.R.A. Vintage Midgets and the Nostalgic Race Car Group, and by sponsoring the Modified main event with an $800 to-win purse. The night was capped with the first of two Demolition Derbies this season.

The Late Model fast time of 12.081s was set by Mike Lovell from Upper Lake. He also won the trophy dash. Surviving eight cautions during the 50-lap main event, Noel McCormack Jr. from Lakeport pulled ahead in lap 44 to claim the win.

The Modified fast time of 12.526s was set by Mike Smithhart from Fair Oaks, his first fast time this season after weeks of constant improvement. Gary Lowblad from Upper Lake barely avoided a huge mid-race tangle to win the main event and claim the Kulture Shock $800 purse.

The Bomber track record fast time of 14.388s was set by Roman Rose from Lakeport. Dylan Rose from Lakeport pulled out of a late-race side-by-side duel to win the main event.####
