AMARGOSA VALLEY – Eight classes will be included when stock car racing returns to Death Valley Raceway Saturday night heading into a summer break.
Included will be IMCA Modifieds, Mini Stocks, Dwarf Cars, Super Stocks/Factory Stocks, Classic Coupes, Modified Minis, Micro Sprints and Bombers.
Points leaders include Dan Fitzgerald (IMCA Modifieds), Mark Dillie (Dwarf Cars), Fred Hardy (Bombers); Steve Edwards and John Pietrorazi (Factory Stocks); Erroll and Eddie Sharon (Micro Sprints; Michael Lysinger (Mini Stocks); Anthony DeBiase (Super Stocks); Randall Boren (Classic Coupes); and Eric Slusher (Mod Minis).
Death Valley Raceway is a third-mile dirt track situated just south of Highway 373 between Lathrop Wells and Death Valley.
