SULTAN, Wahington – John Zaretzke, driver of the Coleman Motorsports Chevrolet and the JZ Motorsports Team are ready for the Pawn X-Change Mid Season Championship at Evergreen Speedway. June 28th marks the mid season point for the NASCAR Whelen All American Series and the first 5/8 race of the 2008 season. “Having raced all over the country, the (Evergreen Speedway) 5/8 is still one of my favorite tracks. Due to the age of the asphalt, it offers challenges you don’t find at other tracks. It’s has character.” said Zaretzke.
After completion of the first 9 events of the season, Zaretzke comes into the event with 6 top five finishes and second place in points trailing leader Naima Lang by a narrow 5 point margin. “We’re still chasing our first win, but we have been competitive and consistent.” “Naima (Lang) and his team have been strong this year, which we expected coming into the season, but I’m happy with our performance to date. I enjoy the challenge and look forward to the second half of the season.”
