GOLDEN STATE RACING DRIVERS SHINE ON BIGGEST STAGE

ROSEVILLE, California -- Golden State Racing had a wildly successful outing in Saturday’s “Rumblin Roseville 150” at All American Speedway, with Kristin Bumbera taking home a win in the first 75-lap segment, John Moore earning a pair of top-fives, and Laura Hayes finishing with a top-five and two top-tens.

The big $4000 first place prize for the night was to be awarded to the driver who earned the most points total.

The night was a complete sweep for Drive for Diversity, with Bumbera of Sealy, TX winning a flawless and caution-free first feature, and rival Paulie Harraka taking the second feature.

Bumbera’s performance on the evening wowed fans as she led all 75 laps for the win against the large field with several out-of-town cars on hand.

Bumbera charged past Shannon Mansch and Kyle Gottula in successive laps to move into second place on lap three in the second-feature.

She appeared to be a lock to take home the overall honors, but a broken rear-end on lap 46 thwarted those efforts.

Moore came within striking distance of winning the overall money as well, qualifying first quick and finishing third in the first 75 lapper.

Moore impressive run in the second 75 saw the Granite Bay veteran come from dead-last in the 22 car field to finish second.

When the points were tallied, Moore ended up a scant three points behind Harraka for the money. Harraka earned a five point bonus for his segment win which pushed him over the hump for the win.

Golden State Racing’s young hard-charger Laura Hayes continued to show her talent after qualifying fifth and finishing seventh and fourth.

Moore leads GSR drivers in the All American Speedway points standings, running second. Bumbera has now risen to seventh, with Hayes eighth.

Golden State Racing will continue its busy summer schedule at the speedway with another race for its talented trio this Saturday night.####
