LEXINGTON, Michigan -- Wheaton, Illinois veteran, "Fast" Eddie Hoffman has won the first three ASA Late Model Series Northern Division Presented by GM Performance Parts events of the 2008 racing season.
Only a rain out at the last scheduled event at LaCrosse Fairgrounds Speedway temporarily detained his domination. Already running in the ASALMS Challenge Division as well as select appearances in the USPRO Cup Series, Hoffman and his T.K. Racing Team have come to a decision with regards to the remainder of the ASALMS North Schedule!
The Wheaton, Illinois veteran has hinted at it for the past few weeks and it's now a reality as the 48-year-old will indeed make a run for the 2008 ASALMS Northern Division Championship and the next race on the North schedule is one of those tracks has been a staple of the ASALMS since 2005 and will continue to be for the foreseeable future!
The wicked fast high-banks of the I-70 (MO) Speedway, located East of Kansas City in Odessa, Missouri is the site for what is now the fourth race of the 2008 racing season, the extended distance Light Up The Night 150 as the cars and stars of the ASALMS Northern Division will help celebrate the Fourth of July Holiday Weekend in the Show-Me State!
On Friday and Saturday, July 4-5, 2008, the famed 0.543 Mile High-Banked Paved Oval will host an extended distance 150-lap Feature with caution laps counting up to Lap 140. The last 10 laps will be run under green flag conditions!
Joining the ASALMS Northern Division stars over the Fourth of July Holiday Weekend will be the I-70 Speedway Dash Cars and Enduro Divisions and a Gigantic Fireworks Display in honor of our nations' 232nd Birthday.
The Light Up The Night 150 Entry Form is AVAILABLE and is due at the ASALMS Home Offices in Lexington, Michigan by Monday, June 30, 2008 to avoid the late fees.![]()
