RACERS COMPLETE MIDSEASON WITH VICTORIESSTATELINE SPEEDWAY

Garber passed two cars with less than five laps to go to win the Fever 4 30-lap main event. Garber ruffled by race leader Rich Hatton after the two drivers obtained the lead from Brycen Tarr with ten laps to go.
Hatton finished second, Tarr dropped to tenth after being nudged around on the front stretch in the battle. Rusty Webb took third after an early race tangle. Mel Auckerman and Matt Schoen rounded out the top five.
Garber also won the fast dash. Les Billings took the B dash. Tom Plybon and Derek Almy picked up their first wins of the season winning heats.
Mel Auckerman leads the Fever 4 division championship standings at midway 31-points over second place driver Rich Hatton. The team of Craig O’Neal and Tom Plybon sits third, 34-points ahead of Andrew McKee.
Steve Mathers out ran dash winner Darin Meeks and fast heat driver Steve Schovaers to the 20-lap main event for the Road Runners. MaryAnne Benn won the B main and C dash. Ben Hawk was the top driver in the 15-lap C main.
Treven Tarr and Jakob Smith, his first win, took dashes. Brenden Tarr, Lance Morehouse, and Corey Allen won heats. For Allen the race was his final of the season as he is being deployed to Iraq.
In Road Runner point standings Scott Rupert holds a slim 8-point advantage over Tom Harris. Tim Benn sits close third, 21-points behind the lead.
Will Whitlow bumped, nudged, and moved anything in his way aside to win the main event for the Bump to Pass division. The win was Whitlow’s third of the season also setting fast time and picking up the win in the dash race.
Point leader Yvonne Lifsey grabbed the win in the heat race. Arron Clother second, John Hollingsworth took third.
The wild, wacky, unpredictable action of Wednesday Night Fever continues every Wednesday at 6pm with the cars and superstars of the Road Runners, Fever 4’s, plus the wild and crazy Bump to Pass division. Adults are just $5.75; kids under the age of nine accompanied by adults are free.
Saturday the INSSA Super Stock Series takes to the track for the final time before the August running of the NAPA Auto Parts Idaho 200. Expected entries from Canada and top point runners will be part of the field for the Windermere 100 race.
Hobby Cars, Street Stocks, and Early Stocks will also compete. Events start at 6pm. Adult admission is $12.75; kids under six are free. A family pass, $30, admits two adults and three kids under the age of 16.
July 3 Demolition Derby and Fireworks Extravaganza tickets are on sale now at the track on race day and at Les Schwab Tires in Post Falls.
