FERREE, KEMMIT, GRAZIER, DENNING, SANT AND WALL WIN AT CNS

Happy Ferree claimed his second Snap-On Tools Pro Truck feature win of the season Saturday night at Colorado National Speedway during the "Race to Find Missing Kids." Lee Kemmit outlasted team-mate Tommy Roe to claim the Suss.net Sportsman feature and Emett Grazier took another Doc Popcorn Super Stock trophy home. Frank Denning III won his second Modified Coupe feature of the season, Jay Sant took the 600's main event and Jared Wall was king of the Buses.

The 600 Mini Sprints hit the track first and Jay Sant took the early lead over Brandon Steele, Nick Burton, Paul Babich and Larry Pachello. Burton took second on lap 4 and started reeling in Sant. Babich took third from Steele on lap 7, and by lap 10 Burton was all over Sant for the lead. In a close race to the finish line, Sant won by a narrow margin over Burton, Babich, Steele and Pachello.

The Modified Coupe main got going after three restarts, the first restart happened after Mike Hankins, Tom Adler and Chet Graham all spun. Then Hankins spun again for another restart, then as the field got the green flag, Scott Bremkamp and Graham both stopped on the track. Graham was towed off. When the green flag finally waved, Rich Bubak took the early lead over Frank Denning III, Scott Rhoades, Adler and Carl Vair. Bill Kolb and Jaime Bubak pitted and Rhoades spun and sat for a couple laps. Adler was now third over Vair and Gary Land in his dads ride. Adler broke on lap 9, and Mike Fetters moved into fifth. On lap 10, Denning grabbed the lead from Bubak and took off. Mike Hankins took fifth on lap 11 and was fourth on lap 16. Denning took the win with Bubak and Vair the only other cars on the lead lap. Hankins finished in the fourth position and Gary Land was fifth.

Damon Dickey jumped out to the lead in the Doc Popcorn Super Stocks at the wave of the green flag. Emett Grazier was second over Dennis Edwards, Dan Dodot and Ric Lothert. Grazier took the lead on lap 4 and Lothert took fourth from Dodot. Corey Greer took fifth from Dodot on lap 5 and Edwards took second on lap 7. On lap 10, John Patte and Lloyd Dempewolf got together with Dempewolf hitting the wall and continuing without a cation. Lothert was third on lap 11 and Chris Cox took fifth from Corey Greer. On lap 14, Joel Sidell spun and was hit hard by James McGinnis. Edwards jumped to the lead on the restart but Grazier came fighting back the Cox moved into fourth, knocking Dickey back to fifth. Grazier was back leading on lap 16 and Greer took fifth from Dickey on lap 18. Coming to the checkered flag, Adam Hilton and Matt Burton tangled and went to the infield. Grazier held off Edwards for the win over Lothert, Cox and Greer.

Lee Kemmit jumped out to the early lead in the Suss.net Sportsman feature with Bruce Borchardt, Lee Kemmit, Nick Brinlee and Craig Holmes following. Roe took second on lap 4 and JimBob Rogers took fifth from Holmes. Brinlee took third from Borchardt on lap 8, and Rogers took fourth from Borchardt on lap 11. Stephanie Brown spun on lap 25, right in front of the leaders for a caution. The caution put Roe on Kemmit's back bumper and another caution flew when Steven Maas spun and Brown spun to miss Maas. Kemmit held off Roe for the win, Rogers got by Brinlee for third on the last lap knocking Brinlee to fourth ahead of Borchardt.

Adam Deines jumped into the lead early during the Snap-On Tools Pro Truck feature over Beau Kellogg, Happy Ferree, Sam Walls and Richard Burton. Burton got by Walls on lap 2 and Ferree was second on lap 3. Ronnie Hults took fifth from Walls on lap 5. Ferree grabbed the lead on lap 6, and Deines battled for the lead back. Hults took fourth from Burton on lap 18 and on lap 25, Billy Harkins and Walls spun for a caution. Deines got the lead back shortly on the restart, but Ferree charged back and took the narrow win over Deines, Kellogg, Hults and Burton.

Jared Wall dominated the Bus race leading every lap of the race. Daniel Martinez was second over Wendy Sutherland.####
