LAS VEGAS – Las Vegas Motor Speedway is opening its RV lots two days earlier than usual for the 2009 NASCAR Weekend and at no extra charge to race fans.
The speedway will open all RV lots at noon on Monday, Feb. 24. This is two days earlier than lots have opened in past years. Anyone who has purchased an RV spot will be allowed the early entry.
“We understand that many people like to make the NASCAR stop in Las Vegas a week-long vacation, and we want to accommodate them with a place to stay,” said LVMS general manager Chris Powell. “We’ve received a lot of requests about opening the lots earlier. This will give many of the fans who have spent the early part of the week in other RV parks an opportunity to save some money and begin their NASCAR experience much earlier.”
RV spaces and tickets for the 2009 NASCAR Weekend will go on sale Tuesday at 8 a.m. Pacific Time. Passes for the Neon Garage, driver introductions and Lucky 7 preferred parking also will be on sale. Race fans can call 1-800-644-4444 or log on to www.lvms.com for RV spaces, tickets and passes.
