LAS VEGAN WAGNER TAKES LEGENDS PRO WIN AT LVMS, SECOND PLACE AT ORANGE SHOW

Fifteen-year-old native Las Vegan Jeremiah Wagner added to an already impressive list of Legends Pro performances when he took a win at the Bullring at Las Vegas Motor Speedway during Thursday night’s Night of Fire before gaining a runner up effort Saturday at Orange Show Speedway in San Bernardino, Calif.

Driving a ’37 Chevy sedan, Wagner added to his Legend Pro points lead in the by scoring a resounding win over Brecken Snow, Dylan Kwasniewski, Dustin Ash and Jack Madrid in the 22-car, 20-lap main event recording his 17th victory of the season at LVMS.

On Saturday, Wagner won the trophy dash before finishing second to Santee’s Darren Amidon in the caution-plagued Lenos Rico Inex Legends competition. He passed Amidon three times – once on the final lap – but was forced to settle for second place when officials ruled the yellow had come out during the final lap.

The Orange Show race run over a quarter-mile paved track finished on a yellow flag. The scheduled 35-lap main with 23 starters was shortened to 31 laps due to so many accidents.
