HARDIN AND H-TOWN RACING FEEL HARD ECONOMIC SQUEEZE

Stocks were up nicely today. Stock car news was not so good.

More news of the shaky racing economy came today with the Eric Hardin NASCAR West series release. In the release came the words no one wanted to read, “There is a time in every racer’s budget where the funds run too low to keep on going. Unfortunately for this very talented and extremely promising team, that time has come for them.”

Hardin’s crew chief, Justin Holechek said, “It’s such a tough economy we’re in right now. It seems like everyone I talk to has interest but lacks the budgets.”

H-Town Racing Inc., based in Henderson, Nevada, also came in with disturbing news that they, too, are feeling the pressure of an economic downturn. They have found creative ways to keep things going for now…but how long is now?
