WEDNESDAY NIGHT FEVER WEEK ELEVEN POST FALLS, Idaho – Race winners had to avoid wrecks, spins, multiple cautions and red flag periods to win during week eleven of Wednesday Night Fever at Stateline Speedway. Dave Frank, Steve Mathers, and Arron Clother held the top spots when the mayhem ended.

Rookie Dave Frank recorded his first ever main event win claiming the checkers for the Fever 4’s 30-lap main event. Frank, winner of the b dash, endured a record five cautions and stoppages to take the victory.

The 19-car field was reduced in half by the end of the race that had four different leaders. Les Billings finished second followed by Rich Hatton and Treven Tarr fourth. Tom Plybon set fast time. KC Garber won the fast dash. Mel Auckerman and Dan Ortiz won heats.

Post Falls driver Steve Mathers took another win in the Road Runners claiming the 20-lap main event for the division over Tom Harris. Harris, who set fast time, assumed the point lead with the strong finish. Mathers also won the fast heat.

Darin Meeks, dash winners Brian Sawatzki and Brycen Tarr, winner of the C main, won heats slowed twice by a four car pileup into the wall and a roll over by Lance McClellan.

Rick Manzer won the 15-lap B main and dash. Eric Harris took a dash victory.

Arron Clother and car captured his first main event win of the season in the Bump to Pass division. Mechanical problems plagued the entire field. Jody Duncan set fast time.

Henry Blakenbaker won his first ever dash, but his car’s motor exploded crossing the finish line ending his night. Vern Dorsey took the heat win and finished second in the main event followed by John Hollingsworth.

The wild, wacky, unpredictable action of Wednesday Night Fever continues every Wednesday at 6pm with the cars and superstars of the Road Runners, Fever 4’s, plus the wild and crazy Bump to Pass division. Adults are just $5.75; kids under the age of nine accompanied by adults are free.

Saturday the ICAR Racing Series takes to the track for race number five of the series. Nathan Fleury leads the point standings after stops in Montana. Colton Garber is second. Also in action are the Late Model 4’s, Early Stocks, and Hobby Cars.

Events start at 6pm with qualifying. Adult admission is $8.50 for adults; kids under six are free.
