![]() ANTELOPE, California – “I heard a loud noise and then the NAPA AutoCare Toyota began to slow down,” said Austin Cameron, pilot of the N. 18 NAPA AutoCare Toyota Camry from the stables of Bill McAnally Racing. Cameron and the team were at Douglas County Speedway in Roseburg, Oregon for the NASCAR Camping World Series West race; the Toyota Bi-Mart Firecracker 150 presented by NAPA AUTO PARTS. The No. 18 NAPA AutoCare Toyota Camry was in the top five during both of the practices and Cameron qualified the car on the outside of the front row only .071 seconds off the record breaking time set by his teammate. He maintained second position and looking to move to the front when at lap 23, the No. 18 NAPA AutoCare Toyota began to slow on the front stretch. Cameron took the car to the pits where crew chief Mike Steurer and the BMR team began to assess the problem. The team changed out the gear and Cameron reentered the race at lap 105. He would take the checkered flag 82 laps down and in 18th place. He loses one position and is now sixth in the chase for the championship 33 points out of the top-five.
