GRAND AMERICAN MODIFIEDS SCHEDULED TO MAKE ANOTHER STOP AT THE MADERA SPEEDWAY

After pleasing the crowd with wheel to wheel racing and a photo finish at the Madera Speedway on June 28th, the Grand American Modifieds will return in style on August 9th as part of the act in the Super Saturday #5 Show.

“ I was so impressed with the quality of racing displayed by the Modifieds on June 28th, it was very clear to me that the Modifieds would be a perfect fit as part of the Super Saturday shows. These shows have a huge fan base and we look forward to showing off the talent in the modified class to this large crowd,” said Madera Speedway president Kenny Shepherd.

This is a special event for the Grand American Modifieds at the Madera Speedway and features a twin 40-lap format paying a total of $1,500.00 to win, $750 per 40-lap segment. There is also a special set of rules for this event that have been designed by feedback from many of the car owners in this division. They are available by going to the schedule on the Madera Speedway website and click on the link for the new rules for this event.

The August 9th Super Saturday event will also feature the ground pounding 410/360 Supermodifieds, Legends of the Pacific, Mini Cup and Baby Grand stars, as well as this twin 40-lap shoot out for the pavement Grand American Modifieds.

The Madera Speedway is conveniently located at the Madera County Fairgrounds just off to the west side of Highway 99 at the Cleveland Avenue exit.
