SAN BERNARDINO, California -- Fifteen-year-old Las Vegas driver Jeremiah Wagner scored one of his biggest wins of the year Saturday capturing the 20-lap Inex Legends national points event at Orange Show Speedway.
Wagner, who became the winningest driver of the year recently at the Bullring at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, passed former OSS Rookie of the Year Brent Scheidemantle on the 13th lap for his 21st victory of the year and second consecutive triumph. He drove a ’34 Chevy sedan.
Scheidemantle, of Alta Loma, Calif. finished third to runner up Eric Gunderson of Malibu, Calif., at the quarter-mile paved oval.
Las Vegas driver John Keller drove his Dodge to a runner up finish behind Mark Shackleford of Riverside in the first 50-lap BSR West Super Lake Model main vent. Fellow Southern Nevadan Ray Hooper, Jr., was fifth in a Chevrolet Monte Carlo.
Keller was fifth in the second 50-lap Super Late main event.![]()
