After pleasing the crowd with wheel to wheel racing action at the Madera Speedway on August 9th, the Grand American Modifieds will return to the “Fastest 1/3 Mile in the West” in style as part of the action packed Fan Appreciation Night program on Saturday, on September 13th.
“Once again we were very impressed with the quality of racing displayed by the Modifieds on August 9th, and we feel the fans deserve to see the best in racing on this special night designed for the race fan. So not only will we have twin 50 lap shoot outs for the Late Models, we will also have a 50 lap shootout for the Modifieds,” said Madera track president Kenny Shepherd.
This is a special event for the Grand American Modifieds at the Madera Speedway featuring a 50 lap format paying $1,000.00 to win. There is also a special set of rules for the class that have been designed by feedback from many of the car owners in this division. For additional rules information go to the schedule on the Madera Speedway website and click on the special link for this event.
The September 13th event will also feature the Western Late Models in twin 50 lap mains, plus the American Limited Stock Cars, Mini Super Toyotas, Toyota Sedans and those crazy Hornets, as well as this 50 lap shoot out for the Pavement Modifieds.
As mentioned above September 13th is Fan Appreciation Night at the Madera Speedway. This means every fan gets in the grandstands for free, that’s right, free! In addition to free admission each of the first 250 fans entering the track will receive a NASCAR collectable pin, and if that is not enough the Madera Speedway will have $5 racing hats and t-shirts for sale!
The Madera Speedway is conveniently located at the Madera County Fairgrounds just off to the west side of Highway 99 at the Cleveland Avenue exit.
