MONROE, Washington — The Figure Eight Nationals, arguably the single biggest Figure Eight Race held at the Speedway each season, is set for This Saturday August 23rd. This 100 lap feature event is sure to be packed once again with the typical thrills and spills and intersection excitement that is figure eight racing at Evergreen Speedway. As the 100th Evergreen State Fair is in full swing, so also will be the the brave competitors as they navigate their way around and finally, for one, a trip to victory stage to claim the ultimate prize, the Figure Eight Nationals trophy and Title. The pre-entry list already makes a full field of cars! More cars are expected, so just making the main event will be a challenge for some. This will be the 25th running of Figure Eight Nationals. Seven former winners are pre-entered, including multiple winners Brian Delfel (3), Steve Peters (3) and Steve Cox (2).
