SALT LAKE CITY, Utah -- Thane Alderman of Las Vegas, NV scored his second consecutive series victory Saturday night in the CarbonX Rocky Mountain Challenge Series NAPA "125" at Rocky Mountain Raceways in SLC. The victory was a long time coming for the Nevada driver as he is on the verge of his first series championship. Tom Hill of Eagle, Idaho crossed the line to continue his superb season. Defending series champion John Newhouse of Twin Falls, Idaho finished third follwed by John Dillon and James Eaton.
Dan Koyle has all but locked up the A-1 Heating and Air Conditioning Rookie honors with a sixth place performance while current point leader Dave Minegar lost some of his margin after finishing ninth in the 125-lap NAPA Auto Parts sponsored event. Minegar captured his 20th career Sharp Powder Coating Fast Time Award and sixth of the season to lead all 22 qualifiers.
