JASON FENSLER LOOKING FORWARD TO TOUGH COMPETITION AT PIR

The JF Motorsports Team heads out to Phoenix Intl Raceway Friday to compete in the Napa Auto Parts Nascar Winter Heat Southwest Tour event. Jason will be piloting the Lee’s Iron & Metal Chevrolet. “We are looking forward to going back to Phoenix, and hoping to have a good run. Jim and Jack Lee always do a fine job in preparing the car, and they have a great group of guys working on getting it ready at the track,” Jason says. The Lee’s and The JF Motorsports team have combined forces at many events, making for some tough competition. They’re hoping to have a great finish this weekend to jump start the new race season.

Plans for 2001? “Our plans for 2001 are still up in the air. We are seeking sponsorship to run the Southwest Series, or possibly look at an opportunity to drive for a team in the Southwest Series. We do have all the equipment and manpower for a strong, very competitive team in the SWT Series, we just need the backing to put the program right on track,” Jason states.

Jason and the team look forward to seeing everyone in Phoenix, he encourages fans to come on by the #66 and say “Hi.”
