- Christian Roeder, whose car owner Frank Brandt was lost in an auto accident while traveling to the Montana 200 in July, makes his return to late model competition this weekend. Roeder has run one race since the loss of Brandt; a modified race at Yakima Speedway on August 30 where he picked up a top-5 finish in his first start behind the wheel of the lightning quick machines.
- Rhodes may be the model of consistency throughout the season but defending series champion, Gary Lewis, has matched that streak at each event his Sunbelt Rental race team has entered this season. Lewis has won two races in three starts on the series in 2008 and finished second one race ago to B.J. Tidrick.
- Chris Hart, a staple on the NASCAR Northwest Series for many years, makes his debut on the ARCA West LMCS this weekend behind the wheel of the International Parking Management Ford Fusion owned by Mark Sundberg. Hart took several years off from competitive racing prior to last Labor Day weekend where he picked up a top-5 finish on the ASA Northwest Tour.
- The Wenatchee 200 will mark the second time in as many races that all three racing members of the Walters family, Todd, brother Chris and their father Pat, will be on the track at the same time.
- Roeder will be a fan favorite to win the Wenatchee race but he will have to contend with Jason Jefferson, the series most recent WVSO winner, who has not finished outside the top-10 in each of his WVSO starts on the ARCA West LMCS.
