WALNUT RIDGE, Arkansas — JFR Motorsports will invade Poinsett County Raceway in Harrisburg, Arkansas this weekend for the 2nd Annual Midsouth Dirt Track Championship, which will conclude the 2008 O’Reilly MSRA season.

Last Saturday, JFR Motorsports was in action in a challenge event between the O'Reilly MSRA and Allstate DLRA Super Late Model tours at Tri State Speedway in Pocola, Oklahoma. Jeff Floyd behind the wheel of his #F1 GRT/Kuntz & Company Super Late Model started 2nd and finished 2nd in his heat race on a hooked up race track and earned a 5th starting position for the feature event. In the main event, Floyd would battle throughout the top ten for the entire 35 lap event before recording a 7th place finish. Via his finish, Jeff cut Joey Mack's advantage in the current O'Reilly MSRA standings to 21 points with only one event remaining in the season.

Jordan Jones was also in action in the #60 JFR Motorsports/GRT/Kuntz & Company Super Late Model. Jordan finished 2nd in his heat race and started 7th in the feature event. Despite being down on horse power with a spec motor on the big track, Jordan battled his way to a 12th place finish in the feature event.

This Friday and Saturday, September 12th – 13th, JFR Motorsports will travel to Poinsett County Raceway in Harrisburg, Arkansas for the O’Reilly MSRA Season finale. Both Jeff Floyd and Jordan Jones are scheduled to be in action in the $5,000 to win/$400 to start event. The weekend gets underway on Friday night with double heat races. The lineup for the first set of heat races will be determined by the pill draw. The second set of heat races will see the lineup from the first set of heat races completely inverted. The top 12 drivers, who earn the most passing points, between the two sets of heat races lock into Saturday night’s main event. The balance of the field will compete in b-mains on Saturday night to set the starting grid for the 40 lap, main event. For more information on the event, please visit or .
