TRUMANN, Ar — Kyle Beard will be behind the wheel of his #86 GRT By Frye/Samuels Performance Racing Engine Super Late Model this Saturday, September 20th in an Arkansas Motorsports Professionals (AMP) Super Late Model event at Central Arkansas Speedway.

Last weekend Beard Motorsports entered the 2nd Annual O'Reilly MSRA Midsouth Dirt Track Championship at Poinsett County Raceway in Harrisburg, Arkansas. The event was originally scheduled to be a two day event with heat races on Friday night and b-mains and the main event on Saturday night. However, a less than promising forecast for Saturday night forced the O'Reilly MSRA staff to make Friday night's event the final point's show of the 2008 season. With 32 entries on hand, Kyle fell just short of qualifying for the main event via his heat race in his #86 GRT By Frye/Samuels Racing Engine Super Late Model. As a result, he had to run a b-main, which he led flag to flag for the win. As a result, he started 15th in the 30 lap, feature event. Kyle would battle his way home to a 7th place finish by the time that the checkered flag fell. With the finish, Kyle locked up the 5th position in the final 2008 O'Reilly MSRA point standings. In addition, with three feature wins on the tour in 2008, which was more than any other driver, Kyle is the recipient of the COMP Cams Winner's Circle Bonus.

Kyle’s Dad, Gary Beard, was also in action on Friday night, and jumped out to the early lead in his heat race, but mechanical woes would sideline him halfway through the race, bringing his night to an end.

Saturday night's non-points event at PCS was nixed by Mother Nature.

This Saturday, Beard Motorsports will make the trek to Central Arkansas Speedway in Plumerville, Arkansas for a $1,500 to win/$200 to start event on Saturday night. The event will be sanctioned by the AMP Super Late Models. For more information on the event, please visit .
