Legends Cars
Tom Landreth of Alta Loma started from the pole position and led all of the laps winning the Legends Cars 35 lap feature race Saturday night (September 20th) at TOYOTA Speedway at Irwindale. With the victory Landreth was able to clinch his 6th Legends Cars division championship. The win was his 41st career victory at the Speedway. Darren Amidon of Santee, the 2007 division champion, finished in second place and Ryan Reed of Bakersfield finished in third place.
West Coast Pro Trucks
Ronnie Davis, Jr. of Whittier started from the pole position and led all of the laps winning the West Coast Pro Trucks 30 lap feature race Saturday night (September 20) at TOYOTA Speedway at Irwindale. Division points leader Jeff Williams of Newberry Park finished in second place and Dalton Kuhn of Vista finished in third place. Ricky James of Murietta finished in 4th place enabling him to win the track division championship.
Justice Brothers Mini Stocks
Jacob Rogers of Riverside took over the lead on lap 14 and went on to win the Justice Brothers Mini Stock 35 lap feature race Saturday night (September 20) at TOYOTA Speedway at Irwindale. Daryl Scoggins of Sunland finished in second place 0.656 seconds behind the winner. Division points leader Rich Garver of Torrance finished in third place.
King Taco Super Trucks
Nineteen year old rookie Rod Johnson, Jr. of Canyon Country took over the lead on lap 22 from Joe Herold of Poway and went on to win his first ever King Taco Super Trucks 40 lap feature race Saturday night (September 13) at TOYOTA Speedway at Irwindale. Herold finished in second place, 1.148 seconds behind the winner. Connor Cantrell of Valencia finished in third place and remains in contention for the division championship after points leader Pat Mintey, Jr. of Quartz Hill blew a rear tire and finished in 18th place.
Pick Your Part Outlaw Figure 8s
Billy Ziemann of Bloomington won the Pick Your Part Outlaw Figure 8 20 lap feature race Saturday night (September 13) at TOYOTA Speedway at Irwindale. The victory was Ziemann’s second of the season keeping him in contention for the division championship with points leader Steve Stewart of Long Beach finishing in 5th place. Rod Proctor of Riverside finished in second place and Jared Henson of Hemet finishing in third place.
All Women Demolition Derby
April Shaw-Johns of Torrance won the All Women Demolition Derby Saturday night (September. 13) at TOYOTA Speedway at Irwindale. Cheryl Hyland of Glendale finished in second place and Jannie Atkinson of Upland finished in third place. Thirteen cars competed in the activity.
