MERIDIAN, Idaho — Mark your calendars for October 26, 2008, for the last race of the season at Meridian Speedway. Over 50 race cars are expected for the Halloween Hornet Enduro on Sunday afternoon sponsored by Larry Miller Subaru. The racing starts at 2:00 for 250 laps of mayhem and racing and right after the races the Trunk O' Treating begins in the pits. The Halloween Enduro is a benefit for the Idaho Food Bank. One dollar of each paid admission will be donated to the Idaho Food Bank and they will also be on hand to receive donated food items.

Parents are encouraged to bring their kids for the fun and the Trunk O' Treating and all are encouraged to dress up in Halloween costumes.

The speedway is looking for vendors or businesses that would be interested in supplying and distributing candy and/or prizes after the races in the pits. For more information please contact the speedway office at (208) 888-2813.

Drivers and owners of Hornet cars are encouraged to come out for the last race of the season at Meridian Speedway. Early entry forms are available so please contact the speedway.

The gates open at 12 noon with the drop of the green flag at 2 PM. Admission price is $6 with kids 5 and under free. For more information log on to or call the speedway office at the above number.
