NATIONAL TALENT SEARCH DEADLINE EXTENDED TO OCTOBER 29TH

SACRAMENTO, California — The national talent search for the NASCAR focused driver development program conducted by Ron Sutton's Winner's Circle has extended the deadline to October 29th, 2008, for drivers and families to submit applications with resumes. The Shoot-Out application process is open to all drivers 11 to 19 years of age, with race winning backgrounds.

Six-time International Karting Federation (IKF) Grand National Champion Joey Licata has been awarded one spot in the 2008 talent search Shoot-Out. Licata will join a field of 36 of the most talented young drivers in the U.S. and Canada in the 2008 Shoot-Out.

K&N Filters, Lucas Oil & Sunoco Racing Fuels will be awarding five more spots in the 2008 Shoot-Out to young and talented drivers from Snap-on Stars of Karting, Superkarts! USA, Legends/Dwarf Car Racing, Quarter Midget Racing and Micro-Sprint/TQ/Dirt Kart Racing.

Ron Sutton's Winner's Circle (RSWC) is an independent talent scout and driver development program focused on developing drivers for NASCAR. RSWC drivers are raced, coached, groomed, trained and molded, within a professional racing environment, into what top NASCAR teams look for when hiring drivers.

RSWC has received over 700 driver resumes to date and a substantial amount of requests for a deadline extension. After resume review and interviews, the field of drivers set to show their skills will be narrowed down to 36. The Shoot-Out is conducted over a three-day weekend in early November, in identical race cars, on an asphalt oval track in Northern California.

Young winning drivers ages 11 to 19, and their parents, are encouraged to get all the information and answers to common questions from the website, and submit their resume before the October 29th deadline, in time to be considered. The website is www.Winners-Circle-Racing.com
