The series which is rich in history will and continue to grow and offer teams and fans some of the best short track racing in the country. The

2009 platform will once again go to top scale historic tracks such as Bristol Motor Speedway, Gateway International, Milwaukee Mile, Memphis Motorsports Park, Iowa Speedway and even to the famed Nashville Super Speedway.

The divisions will also visit a multitude of traditional short tracks throughout the county. Take a look at our tentative schedule; .asalatemodels. com and click on the schedule link. This platform offers our teams the experience and diversity needed to be able to develop and excel in the areas that are most important. These different tracks offer a variety of speed, banking and style that pull together a complete program of training and development.

The ASA Late Model Series will host around 30 events in the 2009 season; these events will be split into 3 divisions to cater to the teams racing needs. You can run for a championship in one or all divisions depending on your program. You can select high profile events that will get your name in the spotlight or just come out to those that are near and dear to you.

The rules package for the ASA Late Model Series has been a solid program for six seasons for not only our series but many tracks and other series throughout the country. The 2009 rules package will continue on as always.

We are working towards development and innovation with GM and the new motor LS3, this program would blend in with our current package and only add more options and value for our teams.

As long as the series has been in existence our main focus has been the teams, 2009 will be no different. The current crate engine package and the new LS3 package will find equality on the race tracks and the series will continue to monitor and test to make sure that parity remains.

The ASA Late Model Series has always been a leader in the evolution and innovation of late model racing and will continue that trend throughout our history. We will continue to set the standard others will follow suit as we take the 1st steps into the unexplored.

Many of us in this industry know that in order to continue to offer great racing and competition we need to continue to grow and evolve. Changes are always met with some resistance and that is why we are working to try and blend in new programs to existing ones. The future of racing depends on innovation and change and the best way to meet that is through solid programs that are thoroughly tested.

The 2009 season will not change any of that for our teams, our rules package will remain intact and one of the most followed in the industry.

We will still have the most talented teams and the best options for those that are looking for equal competition with great experience.

The series also offers the teams a great stage for our teams to be recognized. The many partners and development teams that participate with us have had their heads turned a number of times by many of our remarkable teams.

The Marketing partners continue to support these teams in the industry and are a large part of the cash, awards and prizes that are awarded each season to our teams. The 2008 ASA Late Model Series program has paid out over $1,000,000 in purses, awards, prizes and points funds through these outstanding partners.

No where in the country will you find a program that offers a better platform of tracks, teams, partners, cost effective rules and development.
