Boise, ID – The Northwest Pro4 Alliance will enter 2009 with the best schedule of events this young series has seen to date. The fastest four-cylinder late model stock cars in the country will visit the best race tracks in the Northwest, as the Summer of Excitement Series II will kick off their season on May 2nd at the fast Wenatchee Valley Super Oval. The Alliance will share the card with the new ASA Northwest Late Model Tour, giving the fans what is sure to be one of the best stock car racing shows of the season.
Yakima Speedway will host the Alliance on June 20th, for their first visit to the half-mile track. The race teams can’t wait to show the fans just how quick these Pro4 cars are on the open half-mile. And if Yakima Speedway isn’t quite enough of a speed rush, then the July 18th event at the newly reopened Spokane County Motorsports Park will give the Alliance teams even more flat out racing. This also gives the Alliance an opportunity to show the new management staff at SCMP just how exciting our form of racing really is!
The Alliance will then be returning to a track that we have all enjoyed from day one, Stateline Stadium and Speedway in Post Falls, Idaho, for the 4th Annual Northwest Pro4 Nationals where we share the night with the hottest show in Northwest sprint racing, the ASA/NSRA Sprint Car Tour.
Labor Day weekend, September 5th, will see the Alliance right in the middle of Pro4 country, as championship night will be held at South Sound Speedway in Rochester, Washington, where a new champion will be decided for 2009.
The Alliance is entering its third season and even in these tough economic times we’re still experiencing growth with new teams continuing to enter into the series every week , making this program one of the strongest touring groups on the road.
