Southern California - Are you 14 years of age? Do you have the desire to take your driving program to the next level? Are you ready to step out of Karts or Legends and drive a true stock car? ATK Motorsports is pleased to announce an opportunity to join its driver development program for the 2009 ASA Speed Truck Challenge Series.
Entering its 13th season, the ASA Speed Trucks are full tube chassis, 108 inch wheelbase, 375 horsepower race trucks that race a nationally televised, regional traveling series on the West Coast. The 13-race, 2009 season will visit Irwindale Speedway, Las Vegas Motor Speedway, Firebird International Raceway, Phoenix International Raceway, I-10 Speedway, Havasu 95 Speedway and more.
ATK Motorsports, in partnership with LMS Performance, is offering various levels of support. Drivers in this program will have the opportunity to test and work one on one with a Speed Truck driving coach and crew chief in a fully race-prepped truck prior to race dates. Initially, we are seeking full season commitments, but there may be opportunities to run a reduced schedule or single races as well.
