Miles Copenhaver, 19 year old son of Paul Copenhaver of PCM Motorsports wins his first trip to Hasava 95 Speedway. Young Gun Miles with the Team PCM Motorsports had a one race deal with sponsors to travel to Havasu 95 Speedway. With Help from Ron Esau (Inaugural 1986 NASCAR Southwest Tour Champion) and the factory PCM Motorsports Ford, Miles was told by sponsors with a top three finish they would have a deal to travel to Lucas Oil’s 1-10 Speedway Race February 28th and that night eat at the Mudshark Brewing Co. No top three the team was eating at a fast food establishment. Miles was third fastest, finished second in the dash to the Track Record holder by a nose then WON the Main event wire to wire. At the finish Miles yelled on the radios thanking the crew and we’re going to the Mudshark. Miles was excited about his first Lade Model Stock car win and told the crew a year of hard work and we finally got the “W” and this will be the start of many more. Miles did a great job in the after race interview, with mentions of all the sponsors, WUI,BCRI, PCM Motorsports, Ron’s Rear Ends, Eibach Springs, 10,000 RPM Clutches, Tube Vinyl and the entire PCM Crew members and family. Miles also thanked the fans of Havasu for coming out on a cold night. This week Miles and PCM Crew will be getting the car ready for a trip to Lucas Oil’s 1-10 Speedway and preparing to test a Super Late for Toyota Speedway at Irwindale opening night March 21st. Miles is looking forward to the opening Late model race at Irwindale but is hoping to get as many laps as possible preparing for the 2009 Season. With his alliance with Rapid Ron Racing, Inc. and his Dad’s Company PCM Motorsports, they have Late Model and Super Late Irwindale Cars for Rent, Lease or Sell. PCM Motorsports also repairs and set-up cars with pride and great workmanship. Check out Miles Dad’s website at www.pcmmotorsports.com
