The IMCA Modifieds return to do battle once again at Canyon Speedway Park this Saturday night March 21st. Last weeks main event winner Tim Ward looks to make it two in a row but the first time winner will be challenged by several of the regions best IMCA drivers.
IMCA Sport Modifieds are also in action with their most recent winner Darin Center looking to keep his son's Cody and Taylon Center behind him in the main event finish once again.
The Canyon Pure Stocks led by runaway winner Steve Bitting will most likely repeat some of the wildest action seen at Canyon in some time as they go at it again on the 3/8's mile banked oval.
The Desert Dwarf Car Club will be out in full force for their first regular season race of 2009 at Canyon Speedway Park. Chad Stewart leads the motorcycle engine powered racers in the first of eight scheduled visits to the Peoria oval.
Rounding out the action will be Bomber Mania as the always exciting full fendered Bombers take to the track in their door to door style of racing.
Racing action begins at 7:30pm. Spectator gates open at 5pm. Admission is just $12 for adults, $10 for Seniors and Military with Children 12 and under always free.
Canyon Speedway Park will continue with its audio webcasting of their events accessed by a link on our tracks website. The webcast begins at 7:15pm with a quick preview of the nights racing activities and then you can listen to all the action from the announcers booth during the event.
