Jay Foster took the IMCA Modified main event at Canyon speedway Park Saturday night after taking the lead on lap eleven. At the start of the twenty five lap feature James Pautot, Mark Stewart and Marlyn Seidler were battling in the top three spots until a restart on lap eleven saw all three get together out of turn four as they all crashed against the front straightaway wall. Stewart was the only one able to continue. On the restart new leader Bo Hatfield cut down a right front tire handing the lead to Foster who never looked back crossing the line a half straight ahead of the field.
Brian Stehr won the Desrt Dwarf Car main event after qualifying through the semi main. Thirty Two Dwarf Cars were on hand with some of the best three and four wide racing ever seen at Canyon Speedway Park.
The Bomber main event was won by Ron Neis as he took the lead early and opened up a half track lead over the twenty car Bomber field.
George Fronsman took the top honors in the Super Stocks while John Priest took the top honors in the AMA Modlite division.
Racing resumes next Saturday March 28th with the IMCA Modifieds, IMC Sport Mods, Pure Stocks, Desert Dwarf Cars and Bombers.
