Classic Stocks
Ken Michaelian of Lawndale won the Classic Stocks 30 lap feature race season opener Saturday night March 28 at TOYOTA Speedway at Irwindale. Mike Colato Jr of Chatsworth finished in second place and Justin Good of San Fernando finished in third place.
Classic Stocks Figure 8s
Ken Michaelian of Lawndale won the second race of the Classic Stocks twin bill winning the 12-lap Figure 8 race Saturday night March 28 at TOYOTA Speedway at Irwindale. Justin Good of San Fernando finished second and bill Michaelian of Calabasas finished in third place
Super Stocks
Larry Cerquettini of Redlands took the lead early in the race and never looked back winning the Super Stocks 35-lap feature race season opener Saturday, March 28 at TOYOTA Speedway at Irwindale. Cerquettini’s margin of victory over second place Ken Brown of Cherry Valley was 2.525 seconds. Eric Sunness of Chatsworth finished in third place.
Auto Club Late Models
Nick Joanides of Woodland Hills took over the lead from Andrew Myers of Huntington Beach who was battling handling problems with his car and went on to win the NASCAR Auto Club Late Models 50 lap season opening feature race at Toyota Speedway at Irwindale. Joanides margin of victory over second place Tim Huddleston of Agoura Hills was 0.575 seconds who passed Myers on lap 49. Myers finished in third place. Thirty-two cars competed in the race.
Demolition Derby
Bill Altfather of Los Alamitos won the Demolition Derby Saturday night March 28 at TOYOTA Speedway at Irwindale. Chuck Gillock finished second and Bryan Nerthcutt finished in third place.
