
MERIDIAN, Idaho — Southern Idaho Stock Car Racing Team, Dynamic Motorsports, appeared in Roseville, California this past weekend with driver Phil Dugan behind the wheel of the number 14 Ford Fusion.
"The goal for the team was to finish the race; Phil did so, masterfully racing when needed and graciously moving aside for the leaders to put on a show."
The teams first outing resulted in a Top 15 finish. Dynamic Motorsports arrived as prepared as a new team can be for the NASCAR experience. In the second lap of the first practice session-- not even at full speed, Dugan, avoiding a spun car in turn 4 tangled with the points leader resulting in damage to the nose of the car. Working feverishly, the team fixed the nose and Dugan, in the second session, turned laps to get a feel for the track and learn car control.Qualifying, Dugan and the team were behind and found themselves on the 5 minute clock. Making it out just in time to qualify, the Dynamic Motorsports 14 qualified 17th.

Through the team's efforts, the car came home in 14th place. Dynamic Motorsports and Southern Idaho Stock Car Racing is a new Camping World West Team that competes at a race by race basis.
