TONIGHT'S RACES AT MANZANITA SPEEDWAY POSTPONED UNTIL TOMORROW AT 2:00 P.M.

The heavy rains that fell Friday night and continue throughout the valley has resulted in the final farewell to Manzanita Speedway has been postponed until 2:00 P.M. tomorrow afternoon. The gates will open at 11:00.

The Late Model and Super Stock main events that were rained out last night will run with the scheduled Sprint Cars, Midgets, Mini Sprints and Modlites Sunday afternoon.

The final checkered flag will bring an end to Manzanita which has been continuously operated since August 25, 1951. The track has been sold to Southwest Crane and Rigging and the track will be torn down.
