Super Stocks
Larry Cerquettini of Redlands set the track qualifying record earlier in the day of 20.511 seconds / 87.758 mph and went on to win the Super Stocks 35 lap feature race Saturday night April 11 at TOYOTA Speedway at Irwindale. Cerquettini took over the led from Rick DeLong III on lap 13 finishing 5.016 seconds ahead of the Santa Clarita resident for his second victory of the season. Ken Brown of Cherry Valley finished in third place.
Classic Stocks
Ken Michaelian of Lawndale started from the pole position and went on to win the Classic Stocks 30 lap feature race Saturday night April 11 at TOYOTA Speedway at Irwindale. It was Michaelian’s third victory of the season. Mike Colato Jr. of Chatsworth finished in second place, 2.333 seconds behind the winner. Harry Michaelian, Ken’s father, finished in third place.
Justice Brothers Mini Stocks
Tyler Rogers of Riverside held off a final lap challenge by Daryl Scoggins of Sunland and hung on to win the Justice Brothers Mini Stocks 35 lap feature race Saturday night April 11 at TOYOTA Speedway at Irwindale. Rogers beat Scoggins at the finish line by 0.185 seconds for his second victory of the season. Richie Altman of Wildomar finished in third place.
Auto Club Late Models
Andrew Myers of Carlsbad took over the lead from Dallas Colodny on the second lap and led the remainder of the race to win the NASCAR Auto Club Late Model 50 lap feature race at TOYOTA Speedway in Irwindale. Tim Huddleston of Woodland Hills finished in second place 1.259 seconds behind Myers but tied him for the series points lead. Travis Irving of Long Beach finished in third place.
