FRESNO, California — PRO-RDS is pleased to announce a partnership with the “Race For Autism” NASCAR Whelen All American Series Western Late Model team owned by Carlos Vieira Racing Inc. for a one-race promotion on Saturday, April 25, 2009 at Madera Speedway (Madera, Ca) that will include a special guest driver for the 51 numbered Chevrolet.
PRO-RDS is a motorsports development firm dedicated to the betterment of motorsports and when PRO-RDS heard about Carlos Vieira’s charitable team, the firm felt the need to help the rewarding cause. PRO-RDS was pleased to announce Saturday that they will be brining Ron Capps to Madera Speedway on April 25th to pilot the “Race for Autism” late model and heighten the awareness for the fundraising campaign.
Capps regularly drives the NAPA AUTO PARTS Dodge Funny Car in the NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing Series for Don Schumacher Racing and looks forward to visiting with the fans of Madera Speedway for the first time in his remarkable carrier. Capps currently resides as the NHRA Funny Car points leader after winning this third victory at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway on April 5th.
