GRIDLEY, California — 20 year-old Quintin Crye will hit the track this Saturday in the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series Western Late Models at All American Speedway in Roseville, Calif.

Crye was originally slated to start his season the #73 Rueda Racing / Hybrid Haven Chevrolet on April 11 but was derailed by car preparation delays.
The veteran open-wheel dirt racer hit the one-third mile paved oval last Friday for 75 laps of practice in the 425 horsepower Late Models. Crye ran competitive laps and brought the car home in one piece.
The Cherokee Indian racer was the 2007 USAC Western Midget Rookie of the Year and won a BCRA Midget feature at Placerville Speedway in 2008.
With his resume and with the strong testing session, Crye expects to be a top-ten and possibly a top-five car for the weekend.
“It’s time for us to finally get to some racing,” Crye said. “I’m very excited about the opportunity presented to me by Ed Rueda of Rueda Racing and I fully expect to be competitive right away.”
Crye’s efforts on Saturday will be supported by Turtle Wax, NGK Spark Plugs / Art of Fast, K&N Filters, JE Pistons, JAZ Products, Gary Morgan Graphics, Tires Les Schwab, Oakley, ISC Racer’s Tape, Butlerbuilt seats, Pioneer Auto Body, and JME Motorsports.
Crye will be teamed up with crew chief Josh Bews for the event.
A 50 lap feature is on tap for Saturday. All American Speedway is located at the Placer County Fairgrounds in Roseville, Calif.
