ORLEANS RACING READY FOR TUCSON

LAS VEGAS, NEVADA (March 8, 2001) Orleans Racing team drivers are ready to tame Tucson this Saturday, March 10th in the NASCAR Winston West Tucson 250. The team worked their Las Vegas magic to repair damages from last Thursday at The Bullring. The No. 04 MBNA car and the No. 16 NAPA car are ready to roar.

Bill McAnally, defending champion team owner of the last Winston West race at Tucson, is back to claim another victory with his two-car effort. Orleans driver 73-year old Hershel McGriff, is a favorite at Tucson. McGriff pilots the green/silver/black No. 04 MBNA/Park Corp. Chevrolet Monte Carlo. He will be joined by teammate and 2000 NASCAR Winston West Champion, Brendan Gaughan, who pilots the No. 16 NAPA/Martin-Senour Chevrolet Monte Carlo.

The Tucson 250 is the third race in the NASCAR Winston West series. Saturday will be the first time the race has been 250 laps. The race will be televised on a tape-delay basis.
