MERIDIAN, Idaho — Southern Idaho Stock Car Racing Team, Dynamic Motorsports traveled to Madera, CA this weekend with the number 14, Phil Dugan. Previously, the team had traveled to Arizona to race at Phoenix International Raceway. Their luck was down with engine problems making it impossible for Dugan to compete.

The teams' attitude was optimistic though with this weekends' short track, Madera Speedway. Dugan was excited to run the short track saying, "It reminds me a lot of home," and with his experience at the beginning of the season, in Roseville, CA Dugan was ready for another shot. Learning the inspection process and racing procedures over the past couple of weeks helped the team in preparing for the set up of the car. Through practice, the team tweaked the car set up and got it ready to qualify. Dugan was looking forward to an exciting race, stating "there is a difference between qualifying cars and race cars, and we had a race car tonight." At the green flag, avoiding the first yellows, Dugan was moving forward. Lap 33, Dugan's sway bar heim joint broke delegating the car to the infield pits- disabling Dugan to finish.
