DAVE BYRD BARELY ABLE TO ROLL OUT OF LAS VEGAS

With a tall order to fill in one of the toughest traveling race series, the last thing any race team needs is part failure, but Dave Byrd and his "Performance" pit crew used numerous pit stops to battle a collapsed suspension during the "Blackjack 121" at Las Vegas Motor Speedway">The Bullring at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. The team made adjustments that would make the car drivable and also get Dave back out of the pits without loosing a lap to the leaders.

Hustle on the pit stops by the crew, along with some "Ironman" driving by Dave, combined with a bit of mis-fortune by the other competitors and the team was able to not only finish on the lead lap, but they rolled out of Las Vegas with a 7th place finish.

"Anytime you can have this tough of a day at the track and still get a top ten finish, I call that our Lucky day!" Dave was overheard saying.

The next race on the schedule for the Dave Byrd and the rest of the SRL Southwest Tour Series in scheduled for Saturday May 23rd at Madera Speedway in Madera, California.

Dave Byrd Racing is proud to be partnered with Faith Bumper Service, Conti Trucking, Inventory Sales Company, RH Motorsports, Jim and Pam Garcia and Bob Strandwold Racing.
