South West Tour Trucks
Dalton Kuhn of San Marcos won the South West Tour Trucks 35-lap feature race Saturday (May 30) at TOYOTA Speedway at Irwindale. The victory was Kuhn’s second at the Speedway. Jeff Williams of Newberry Park finished second and Ronnie Davis Jr. of Whittier finished third.
Justice Brothers Mini Stocks
Daryl Scoggins of Sunland took over the lead on lap five from Kevin Bernhardt of Fontana and went on to win the Justice Brothers Mini Stock 35-lap feature race Saturday night (May 30) at TOYOTA Speedway at Irwindale. It was Scoggins’ third consecutive victory. Bernhardt finished second and Steve Rogers of Riverside finished third. Entering the race, Scoggins and Tyler Rogers of Riverside were tied for the division points lead. The victory gave Scoggins sole possession of division lead while Rogers finished 5th in the race.
Legends Cars
Fifteen year old Donny St. Ours of Upland took the lead from Darren Amidon of Santee on the race restart on lap 25 and went on to win the 35-lap Legends Cars feature race Saturday night (May 30) at Toyota Speedway at Irwindale. The win was St. Ours’ second career victory in Legends Cars competition and snapped Amidon’s two-race win streak. Brent Scheidemantle of Alta Loma finished third and division points leader Brandon Toy finished 7th.
Auto Club Late Models
Reigning champion Tim Huddleston of Agoura Hills started from the pole and the led the entire race winning the NASCAR Auto Club Late Model 50-lap feature race at Toyota Speedway in Irwindale. Huddleston victory was his third consecutive and moved him within 8 points of division leader Nick Joanides. Mike Johnson of Covina finished second and rookie Beau Debard of Reno, Nevada finished third.
ASA Speed Trucks Challenge
Jeremiah Wagner of Las Vegas, a 16-year old rookie took the lead from Randel King of Riverside and went on to win the ASA Speed Truck Challenge 75-lap feature race at TOYOTA Speedway at Irwindale. The victory was his first at the Speedway and finished 1.929 seconds ahead of King who finished in second place and maintained the division points lead. Cole Cabrera of Exeter finished in third place.
