The Chowchilla Speedway continues its assault on the movie theatre with the best $7.00 ticket on the planet, that’s right just $7.00 will get an adult in to see the action packed show at the Chowchilla Speedway this Saturday featuring Wingless Sprint Cars, Ground Pounding Western Modifieds, Super Stocks, Hobby Stocks and the 4-Banger two track challenge series.

Spec Sprint Point leader Dan Ganderman will be chased by Chris Koontz, Christian Hickman and the rest of the sprint car field to see who will take round three of this series. The Spec Sprint cars produce some of the most action packed side by side racing seen at dirt tracks today.
The ground pounding Western Modifieds return to Chowchilla Speedway with their three wide brand of racing. Fifty-two different modified drivers have competed in the first four races of the Chowchilla Speedway 2009 season, and local driver Alex Stanford finds himself in the point lead in this hi powered division.
Behind Stanford in the points are some of the top dirt track drivers in the Western United States like Ryan McDaniel, Robbie Jeppeson, Randy McDaniel, Kellen Chadwick, Ray Mayer, Garrett Steitz, Richard Papenhausen, Bill Egelston, and Jon Schlundt making up the top ten.
The rivalry between Super Stock point leader Mike Shepherd and second place Mitch Enos is sure to please the fans once again. Marshell Weaver, Donnie Shearer, Roy Hart Jr., Steven Hannah, George Lefler and Shane Hauseman all intend to join the fight between Shepherd and Enos for the big pay check at the end of the night.
The battle in the Hobby Stocks is one of Ladies verses Gentleman with three of the top six in the points being the ladies. Point leader Danny Roe is just a slim six points ahead of Shannon Porter. Phil Vaughn is in third in the points but has Jarrod Fast, Stacey Marlow, Shannon Marlow and Tim Dean right on his backside, basically it is just about a four way tie for third right now.
The 4-banger Two Track Series brings out the best of the best in this class to the Chowchilla Speedway. This is the final dirt race as the series shifts to the Madera Speedway for the next three races after this event. Grant Koontz leads the points in the Two Track Challenge followed by legendary Miles Humphreys, track point leader Kathy Evans, front running Paul Thornburn, and Mark Clay round out the top five in the Two Track Challenge.
