The third weekend of June has always been the biggest of the Northwest's sprint car season, and this year is no different. Skagit Speedway in Alger, Washington is holding its 38th annual Jim Raper Memorial Dirt Cup, featuring three nights of winged sprint car action. For this year's Dirt Cup, Triple X Race Co. in Burlington is holding an Open House on Friday and Saturday, offering race teams a clean, safe place to work on their cars.
Triple X Race Co.'s office and warehouse are located about six miles south of Skagit Speedway down Old Hwy. 99. There is a large paved parking lot out behind the warehouse, where teams can unload their cars and work on them during the day. Air and electricity will available, and pressure washers will also be available for teams to clean their cars. Triple X Race Co. will also provide food, drinks, restrooms and a helping hand if needed.
All teams, racers, crew members and fans are welcomed to stop by Triple X Race Co. and work on their cars, meet and greet, and have a cold drink. The event on Friday and Saturday will be open up until two hours before race time at the track.
Directions are simple. From Skagit Speedway, just go back down Old Hwy. 99 from the track. About a mile past Cook Road you'll see the warehouse and XXX signs to the left. We look forward to seeing everyone this week and wish all teams the best of luck in the 38th Jim Raper Memorial Dirt Cup.
